It’s Dogtober on Beaufort Street!

Dry July, Liptember, Movember and now our very own Dogtober on Beaufort Street!

Your local community group, the Beaufort Street Network, are running their monthly market with a dog theme on Sunday October 4 from 9am to 1pm.

In recognition of all the wonderful dogs that frequent Beaufort Street, Chair Pam Herron says it was time that we provided a special market where owners could bring their pooches along to enjoy a Sunday morning out with the family.

There will be treats galore, a doggie photographer and even a mobile dog wash, (after all who wants to pat a dirty pooch?)

Rotaract will be raising funds for charity with their sausage sizzle. A raffle and some very special prizes will be up for grabs on the day. Yes, you can dress Chewie up for the occasion Mayor Carey!

Celebrity dogs are invited, committee member Danielle Van Kampen will be bringing George and Mildred down and we might even get to see some local stars like Grover, Riley, Jeffrey or Lola all vying for best looking dog.

Located in the Barlee Street Carpark, this is a wonderful place to hang out, listen to music, buy some wares, have a coffee or grab a selection of food provided by Beaufort street cafes.
